Front Desk Receptionist EVENING position

Job Description
This position registers patients, gathers and verifies demographic and insurance information,and inputs information accurately into the practice management system, Excellian (EPIC). Directs patients and visitors and schedules follow up appointments as needed. This position also involves, but is not limited to, monitoring the cancellation line, making reminder calls and cancellation calls, monitors failed and cancelled appointments all while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Check in patients, update demographic information,verify and input required data,and verification of insurance information. Collect co-pays and schedule follow up appointments using accurate visit codes. Provide continuous customer service. Monitor the cancellation line and make appropriate changes to provider schedules and in practice management system. Communicate cancellations and fails to the appropriate team. Makes daily appointment reminder calls. Takes accurate, legible messages and forwards to the appropriate team. Forward all symptom based calls to the triage nurse line. Work with patients and their families to obtain proper documentation, verify information, and to determine the correct method of payment based on a sliding fee scale. Work diplomatically with patients whose expectation of their payment is less than the required payment. Work with patients to fill out appropriate paperwork if eligible for insurance or other payment assistance programs. Verify insurance as neede Act as a resource and a liaison between the front desk, information desk and the provider teams to assist with problems that arise. Initiate communication with other teams/departments to resolve issues. Maintain work area, lobby and patient areas in neat and orderly manner. Maintain confidentiality of all employee, patient, and other privileged information regarding UFM business activities and according to HIPAA standards. Maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity in the performance of job duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED Excellent customer service and phone skills Ability to work both individually and in a dynamic team environment Proficient ability in use of computer, Electronic Medical Records experience a plus 2 years previous experience of front desk, scheduling, or clinical experience in a healthcare environment preferred Completion of accredited Medical Assisting or nursing assistant program preferred Fluent in 2nd language preferred ( Any of the following: Spanish, Somali, Tigrinya, or Amharic) Knowledge of private insurance payer a plus
Position Details
Permanent .8 Part Time position working 4 days per week. Eligible for full benefits. This position works from 11:45pm to 8:15pm Monday through Thursday This position will also include an occasional Saturday from 745am to 1pm. Starting date: A.S.A.P. Salary: Depends on Experience. CMA/RMA or LPN SPANISH speaking REQUIRED

Job Description
United Family Medicine has a unique opportunity for a CMA/RMA or LPN. Rooming patients for variety of providers. 3-5 years Experience working in a clinic required. Provide high quality and efficient direct patient care services including rooming patients, completing vitals, administrative duties, stocking and cleaning and customer service. All positions required to work 1 evening a week until 8:00pm and an occasional Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm.
Responsibilities
Rooming patients including taking vital signs, history, and preparing patient and equipment to be seen by the provider. Performs routine procedures including EKGs, audiograms, vision and hearing screenings, ear irrigations, TB skin tests, inspirometry and assisting with minor surgery and other procedures. Administers medications and vaccinations per provider order.
Qualifications
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse with 5 plus years experience in ambulatory care. LPN licensure required. CMA or RMA certificate needed or must receive within 6 months of hire. Previous clinical experience at UFPHC strongly desired. Spanish Speaking Candidates encouraged to apply.

RN Part Time

Job Description
Part Time hours (25 per week), in a large family practice clinic for qualified RN. Primary responsibilities, prescription refill by protocol, Saturday coverage and direct patient care.
Responsibilities
Follow established protocols to provide refills, Triage and patient care as needed doing mostly RN patient visits.
Qualifications
RN with current MN license and five years clinical or related nursing experience. BLS certification. Three years experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred, in particular work history that includes refill by protocol, ambulatory care triage, Excellian system use or similar Electronic record use. Must be flexible, organized and display exemplary customer service skills.
Position Details
Part Time hours 25 per week. Primary need for Monday and Tuesday refill support and Every other Saturday. May pick up additional hours to cover vacations or clinic needs. This may include triage support, either telephonic, or for occasional Saturday morning walk-in clinic. This position may include option for working from home to provide refill support as needed.

Dental receptionist part time

Job Description
The Dental receptionist is the first point of contact for patients seeking dental care; thus is a key facilitator for patients and other staff in providing a satisfying experience for patients. The dental receptionist must be able to positively and professionally interact with patients both in person and through telephone communication. Bilingual candidates encouranged to apply.
Responsibilities
Main duties for this position include but are not limited to, appointment scheduling, patient registration and check in, and dental insurance verification and billing. The dental receptionist being aware of clinic operations, facilitate the process of scheduling patients for care as well as coordinate payments for services rendered.
Qualifications
Must have at least 5 years Experience as a dental receptionist or dental biller for insurance processing. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in using computer systems with experience in the dental system Dentrix strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to prioritized work under pressure, and function with multiple priorities and interruptions. fluency in Spanish preferred. Desire to work within a community health dental clinic.
Position Details
This position is a .7 position working 26 hours per week Monday through Friday. Wednesdays will work until 7:00pm. May also work occasional Saturday
